Germantown Tool entered into the mechanical and metal assembly business more than 30 years ago in response to their customers’ changing requirements.
As customers began to evolve away from a vertically integrated business model—including metal assembly—there was an increased drive for suppliers to take on that responsibility. This freed up customers’ resources to focus on core competencies: the design, development, and marketing of their products.
Seeing an opportunity to expand its offerings and provide greater value to their customers, Germantown Tool developed mechanical and metal assembly services. Over the years, simple drill-and-tap operations were joined by metal stamping, and today the company has a fully integrated mechanical/metal assembly department.
